PJ Party Friday March 1st

Dear Families,

This is a friendly reminder that we are having a PJ day tommorrow, Friday March 1st.  We will visit the other Kindergarten classrooms and have a pretend sleepover and celebrate friendship.  Students should wear their PJ's to school and bring a stuffed animal.

A student turned in this book on Tues. It is a South County library book. I asked both classes but no one will claim it.

Thursday, Feb. 14th

Tomorrow Valentine's Day Cards are due.
It is also "Dress Up like a Teacher" day. Students can dress like any teacher or the principal Mr. Hamby.
Valentine's Day Parties are 10:30-11:30 and 1:45-2:45.

A.M. Star of the Week Feb. 4th

Mary was the "Star of the Week" during the week of Feb. 4th. Her favorite book is 5 Little Pumpkins. Mary's favorite sport is running. When she grows up, she wants to be a ballerina.

P.M. Star of the Week Feb. 4th.

Keagan was the "Star of the Week" during the week of Feb. 4th. His favorite book is Mike Mulligan and the Steam Shovel.  Keagan's favorite sport is soccer. When Keagan grows up, he wants to be a construction worker.

Mailing Valentine's Day cards

Students began mailing their Valentine's Day cards on Monday. We will continue mailing the cards throughout the week.

Grandparent's Day

Grandparent's Day is Friday Mar. 22nd. This is a half day. Both the A.M. Class and P.M. Class will attend school in the morning. This is a very special day and requires a lot of preparation. Several forms have already gone home about Grandparent's Day. Please return the forms posted below as soon as you can.

6 Flags Reading Logs

Please remember to complete the 6 Flags Reading Log.  The yellow log says to return the form to me on Feb. 18th.  The students are off on Feb. 18th, so please have the students turn in the form to me by Friday, Feb. 15th.

Star of the Week - Jan. 28th P.M. Class

Madison was the "Star of the Week" during the week of Jan. 28th. Her favorite book is Clifford's Family. Madison's favorite sport is gymnastics. When she grows up, she wants to be a doctor.

Upcoming Events

Dear Families,

The SPTG Meeting is tomorrow night, February 5th.  The Sappington Strings and Chorus will perform along with the LHS Strolling Strings.  It begins at 6:45. 

 

Wed. Feb. 13th is an Early Release Day.  The A.M. Class will meet from 8:45-10:55.  The P.M. Class will meet 11:30-1:40.  Valentine's Day cards are due on Wed. 2/13.

 

Thurs. Feb. 14th is Jump Rope for Heart, Dress like a Teacher Day and the Valentine's Day Parties.  The A.M. Party is from 10:30-11:30 and the P.M. party is from 1:45-2:45.

Jacob was our "Star of the Week" Jan. 22nd. Jacob's favorite book is Splish Splash. When he grows up, he wants to be a police officer. Jacob's favorite sport is baseball.
